TMJ Dentist in Park Ridge
Dr. Oliva’s experience includes 33 years of clinical and instructional dentistry. He graduated from Loyola University Dental School in 1982; his undergraduate degree is a B.S. in biology from Loyola University of Chicago. His breadth of dental expertise includes being an attending staff member at Illinois Masonic Hospital and serving as a clinical instructor at Morton College.
His ongoing continuing education has included completion of all ten levels of specialized post-graduate training by the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, sleep apnea specialized training from the Metz Center for Sleep Dentistry and Airway and Sleep Prosthodontics courses by Dr. Jeff Rouse. Dr. Oliva serves on the board of directors of the renowned Seattle Study Club of Oakbrook. He is also an associate member of the Chicago Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy study club.
Dr. Oliva resides in Park Ridge with his wife, Janice. He is deeply committed to the community where his children, Mario and Sydnie, are active in the public school system. He attends South Park Church in Park Ridge and coaches hockey in the Glenview Grizzlies program. He also participates in many local charitable organizations and events, including Free Dental Care Days and the local Kiwanis club.
